Having trouble figuring out what "The writer introduces the character’s adversary – with which the protagonist will attempt to do battle" means!!!
Hi Rebecca.
Basically -
Protagonist = main character (male or female) in a book, film, play.
Adversary = main character's enemy, with whom the protagonist does battle!
Hope that helps - and sorry for bamboozling you!
